CarbWatchers Gourmet Sugar-Free Dark Chocolate

I saw these at Wal-Mart in passing and figured, 'hey, why not?' So I grabbed one of the Pistachio Creme bars and hoped that the 'With Belgian Chocolate' part was for real.

Verdict: No weird maltitol aftertaste, but no real discernible flavor either. It has the same inoffensive quality of most low-carb chocolates, and the pistachio cream didn't taste strongly of pistachios (though pistachios actually are an ingredient... not artificial pistachio flavor. Maybe artificial pistachio flavor would have made it taste more like pistachios?).

No, really, I actually liked it. At 0 net grams, you can't really ask for much and it didn't taste weird or yucky. I seem to recall it being about a dollar, which is a lot for an ounce of chocolate candy, but if you've got a craving and have been burned by icky-tasting low-carb chocolate before, these are worth checking out. They also come in hazelnut, raspberries & cream, oranges & cream, vanilla creme and praline mocha. Website's here, they're the second bar listed.
